Reconsider move against women, high court tells Haji Ali trust

The Bombay high court has orally suggested to the Haji Ali trust to reconsider its decision about not allowing women inside the inner sanctum of the dargah.
A division bench of justice VM Kanade and justice BP Colabawala said: “Normally such matters should be resolved at the trust level. If it’s not done, then we will pass orders accordingly after hearing all parties.”
The bench also told the petitioners that stoking religious sentiments sometimes cannot be correct. “What is the guarantee that orders passed by us will be followed by the trust,” it questioned.
