NEW DELHI: Muslim organisations across the country are coming forward to slam the terror outfit ISIS for acting against the basic tenets of Islam.
According a home ministry report, reviewed by HT, these organisations have held meetings in Delhi, Jodhpur, Kozhikode and Lucknow to urge Muslim youths to refrain from associating with terror outfit Islamic State (IS).
“Voices from within the community can really check the vulnerable youths from getting radicalised,” said a home ministry official requesting anonymity.
