Ahmedabad: The Gujarat high court on Tuesday issued a notice to the state government and the chief information commissioner while hearing a petition that pointed out inordinate delays in deciding appeals and complaints by the state information commission (SIC).
Acting on a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by Jagte Raho Party, the division bench of acting chief justice VM Sahai and justice RP Dholaria directed the state and chief information commissioner to file their reply in the matter by July 31.
