A signboard restricting entry of non-Hindus in famous Somnath Temple raised many eyebrows in Gujarat. The circular displayed at the entry of one of the 12 Jyotirlings, states that non-Hindus will require to take permission to offer prayer to Lord Shiva.
The Somnath temple is being managed by Shri Somnath Trust. According to Vijaysinh Chavda, the general manager of the trust, the circular on the entry of non-Hindus was issued three days back and subsequently a signboard has been displayed.
