4-year-old raped in Borivli, second incident in a week

MUMBAI: Three days after a two-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Ganpat Patil Nagar slum in Borivli, a 52-year-old man was arrested for sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl in the same area on Monday.
The accused approached the girl, who was playing outside her house, on Saturday. He took her to his room and sexually assaulted her. A relative of the girl saw the incident through the cracks of the door and informed the girl’s family.
“The girl told her mother about the assault only on Sunday,” said Dinkar Shilwate, inspector at MHB police station.
