State-wide drive of ‘Van Mahotsav’ kickstarts from Vansda in Navsari but opposition raises questions about govt’s sincerity towards the tribal people

Gandhinagar: BJP government in the state added saffron tint to the 15-day-long forestation drive which was inaugurated by chief minister Anandiben Patel on Sunday. The inauguration which was held at Janki Van in Vansda taluka in Navsari district also marked the opening of the van to the public.
The opposition has already raised brows over the issue as Janki Van has many exhibits depicting characters and incidents from the Ramayana.
Congress leader Manish Doshi said, “BJP cheated the people in the name of ‘Ram Mandir’ but they are losing their edge in mainstream politics and now are taking shelter of ‘Janki Van’ by going back to its fundamental
