Reiterating its support for RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement that India is a ‘Hindu rashtra’, the Shiv Sena claimed that Hindus had voted out fake secularists and Narendra Modi-led NDA’s victory showed that India is on its way to becoming a Hindu rashtra.
“The victory of Hindutva is an indication of Hindustan becoming a Hindu rashtra,” said the editorial on Thursday in Shiv Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamna’, with party president Uddhav Thackeray as editor and Rajya Sabha MP and spokesperson Sanjay Raut as the executive editor.
