Students of nearly 450 Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) controlled schools will first time celebrate birth anniversary of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ideologue Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on Thursday (September 25), who worked closely with RSS founder KB Hedgewar.
The RSS ideologue’s birthday falls on the first day of Navaratri festival. AMC school board had issued a circular asking the schools to fetch all important information about him. The circular says to create awareness about Upadhyay among the children, “these stories must be read out during the morning assembly
