Around 1 pm on Wednesday, he hurled an alcohol bottle filled with petrol inside Madina mosque in Govindpuri just as worshippers had begun their afternoon prayers.

A 43-year-old man was arrested for throwing a petrol bomb inside a mosque in Southeast Delhi’s Govindpuri area on Wednesday afternoon. However, no one was injured. Police said the man is “mentally unstable” and had hurled similar projectiles on two previous occasions over the last two years.
