Citizens for Justice and Peace Serves a Legal Notice
on THE PIONEER

The
Citizens for Justice and Peace has served a Legal Notice on
The Pioneer edited by BJP parliamentarian, Chandan Mitra for
carrying a series of slanderous and defamatory articles, the
last one of which appeared today dated

April 21, 2014. The notice
served by the CJPÂ’s lawyer, Mr Mihir Desai is a notice to
publish the content of the Legal Notice in Full with an Apology
or face Criminal and or Civil defamation.

Enclosed is a Copy of the Legal Notice.

Please do disseminate this news widely and also publish this in
your publication.

LEGAL NOTICE TO THE PIONEER

CJP has, along with 1298 been running Ambulances for
underprivileged citizens of Mumbai thanks to donations received
from among others, world renowned musician Jethro Tull, Anoushka
Shankar and the Chatwals. The Chatwals donations was facilitated
by IM-Lakme through a fashion show MAI MUMBAI where Naomi
Campbell, the famous model ensured the contribution. The
selective and vile reportage by The Pioneer on 21.04.2014 shows
a selective and manipulated use of accounts/documents obtained
from the Ahmedabad Crime Branch. It reflects the newspapers poor
and motivated journalism and malafide intent.
