An Alwar woman on Wednesday lodged a complaint of sexual harassment against R P Meena, an income tax commissioner in Mumbai.

She alleged that 57-yearold Meena, from Bassi in Jaipur district, befriended her through a social media website and sexually exploited her for five months on the pretext of marrying her. He called her to his house in the city’s Malviya Nagar and Mumbai hotels to establish a physical relationship, she told the Jaipur police.

In response to the allegations, Meena lodged a counter FIR against the woman on Thursday and accused her of blackmailing him.

Police said the woman had earlier worked as a nurse.“She approached us on Wednesday and lodged an FIR against Meena,“ a police officer said.
