Defying a ban order by the city police, which was upheld by the Karnataka high court, VHP president Praveen Togadia made a multi-media appearance in Bengaluru.
At the end of the golden jubilee function of the Vishwa Hindu Parishath, the organisers played the video of Mr Togadia, which went on for more than 12 minutes, before the police could locate the origin of the screening.
City police commissioner M.N. Reddi said that the police would initiate legal action against Mr Togadia.
