Kerala: Four held in connection with brutal assault of youth

A day after the video of a youth being brutally attacked in broad daylight went viral, four persons were arrested today by a special police team in connection with the crime.
Police said the victim was riding a motorcycle along with a friend when they were waylaid and attacked by the four accused.
The accused had thrashed with sticks the 25-year-old youth, who later died, at Vakkom near here two days ago.
Another youth is undergoing treatment at a hospital. The video of the shocking incident had gone viral in the
social media yesterday. The victim had reportedly made certain remarks against the father of one of the four accused which infuriated them, police added.
