Tarsem Lal was killed by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Indian police.
National Panthers Party Chief Patron, Professor Bhim Singh while denounced the killing in a statement demanded registration of FIR against police under section 302. He said that the Dalit youth was killed right in front of Damana Police Station.
The NPP chief described the killing as a terrorist act of the men in uniform and demanded entire reshuffle in the police. He urged Governor to declare emergency as the puppet regime had failed to protect the life and property of the people.
