Meerut girl abducted, ‘gangraped’, converted to Islam; 3 arrested
Communal tension gripped Uttar Pradesh once again, late on Sunday night, after a girl was allegedly kidnapped from Meerut district; gangraped and then forced to convert to Islam by a group of young men. She was also made to enter in to a contract marriage with one of the accused and also “tortured”.
The girl, who is a teacher in a local madarasa, returned home after 11 days and narrated her ordeal to her family that lodged an FIR with the police.
