Social Media Brings to Light Cases of Human Rights Violation Stand Up for Human Rights

Social media has played a role in building people’s movements and helping create and sustain conversations that are essential for any democracy to thrive. Socio-politically relevant debates have also been amplified ever since the advent of social networking platforms. Here, three strong Indian civil society voices share how they feel social media has empowered the Indian democracy:
