The BJP MP from Unnao Sakshi Maharaj stoked a controversy when he said that the Madrasas are producing terrorists in the country and demanded that these should be closed down.
“The Madrasas should be closed down because they do nor respect Tri colour. This is strange that these madrsas do not celebrate Independence day and Republic day, Why do not madrasas do so,” he asked during a Press conference on Kannauj on Sunday.
He said that these Madrasas are operated by anti-national people and should be closed down as these only teach Jehad and incite students as how to become terrorists.
