Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah on Sunday refused to comment on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement that India was a Hindu Rashtra.
In an exclusive interview to The Hindu the BJP president said: “You can ask as many times as you want. But I will not comment on Mohan Raoji’s statement.”
Explaining the BJP’s position on talks with Pakistan, Mr. Shah said it was for the government to decide whether to talk or not.
