Even before the controversy over BJP’s Ram Madhav’s tweet against vice-president Hamid Ansari could die down, VHP’s Sadhvi Prachi kicked up another controversy claiming those opposed to yoga should go to Pakistan as they have “no right” to stay in the country. She further said the yoga event was not the wedding of a politician’s daughter that the V-P needed an “invitation.”
Mr Madhav had questioned the vice-president’s absence from International Yoga Day event at Rajpath on Sunday, over which he later apologised. The V-P office had clarified that he was not invited. The government had to tender an apology over Mr Madhav’s tweets against the V-P.
