While the Centre has dropped `Surya Namaskar’ from the countrywide drill planned for International Yoga Day on June 21, the BJP-led Rajasthan government has decided to continue with its policy of making the sun salutation compulsory in all schools daily despite various groups opposing the move. State education minister Vasudev Devanani, who made the practice mandatory in February, said on Tuesday that the state government would not reconsider its decision and would strongly represent its case in reply to organizations which had approached courts against the move.
