The police arrested the priest and seized his smartphone which was used for filming the victim and then blackmailing her for sexual favours
The Gamdevi police station have arrested a priest of a temple in Cotton Green area identified as Prem Singh Parmar (35) for raping a 38-year old woman on several occasions. The victim was a regular visitor to the temple and was filmed by the priest secretly on his smart phone in an objectionable way. The victim was then blackmailed through whatsapp messages to gain sexual favours.

According to the police, the woman had complained to the Gamdevi police station that she was being blackmailed by the priest since September 2015 and was being sexually exploited since then. Parmar made videos and clicked pictures when she used to visit the temple nd started to send her those pictures and videos. He threatened her to give in to his demands or the pictures and videos would be made public through the internet and whatsapp.

However the victim agreed to meet Parmar who further filmed her in more compromising situations and blackmailed her even more to rape her. Parmar called the victim to several different places and raped her on many occasions. The victim was also told that if she told any body about his demands she would face dire consequences.
