Radha Semwal

A far-right extremist from Uttarakhand, she is regularly seen physically and verbally attacking the minorities in the state. Her Facebook page is rife with anti-minority posts and she claims to be the protector of Uttarakhand which is a land of gods.

March 4, 2023

In February, 2023 Semwal shot a video of harassing a Muslim vendor in Uttarakhand. She asks the vendor to show his Aadhar Card and claimed that he has come from Lucknow and was selling vegetables he spat on.

March 1, 2023

Semwal posted a video on her Facebook page of men destroying a mazaar in Uttarakhand and in the caption, she writes, “show the registry and save your mazaar, Uttarakhand is a land of gods and here only gods will reside.”

January 30, 2023

Semwal at Jhajra, Dehradun verbally and physically abused Christians on allegations of religious conversion. Semwal further handed them over to the police. The video of the incident was also uploaded on YouTube.”
