After Baba Ramdev meeting, Haryana panel wants Sanskrit compulsory from Class 6

Following a meeting chaired by Baba Ramdev, the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Haryana, has recommended that Sanskrit should be made compulsory in all schools under the state board from Class VI to XII.
The meeting was held at Ramdev’s ashram in Hardwar on May 14. The recommendations have been forwarded to the state education department.
