Assam NRC rejection slip work is being halted due to Corona Virus. March 20th 2020, was the deadline for issuing theses rejection slips. Once rejection slips are issued, people get only 120 days to appeal in Foreigners’ Tribunals.
Now Nagarik Seva Kendras and NRC headquarters will remain shut and people excluded from Assam NRC will remain in the dark until further notice.
