KHOJ: Ahinsa aur Shaanti Program on Gandhi Jayanti

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti this year KHOJ organised an event titled “Ahinsa aur Shaanti” at Nadkarni Park School in Wadala for over 50 students from the Marathi, Urdu and Hindi medium schools. These students participated and performed in the event.
KHOJ is an Education for a Plural India movement. It is an innovative educational approach, which has been evolved over 20 years of actual engagement inside classrooms with thousands of school students in the 10-13 year age group (Std. V – Std. VII).
KHOJ is based on the premise that the young are as capable of thinking and feeling as adults and need to be the vital recipients of an education that deepens Indian Constitutional Values within the classroom. It has been active since 1994.
