In 2025, Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) documented and challenged public speeches steeped in communal, coercive, and exclusionary rhetoric.
Through our Hate Hatao initiative, CJP monitored hate speech, intervened early, flagged violations of the Model Code of Conduct during elections, and demanded accountability from institutions entrusted with safeguarding democracy.
This year-ender reflects our commitment to documenting hate, promoting dialogue, and reclaiming public speech grounded in reason, dissent, and democratic civility.
India belongs to all. Our dignity is indivisible.
