Babri Masjid Demolition

Babri Masjid Demolition

A young daily wage earner, Amit, recalls how his family’s farm land was acquired by the government in wake of the Ram Janm Bhoomi – Babri Masjid dispute. He claims they were never paid for their land and that his father had to sell vegetables to earn enough to put food on the table.

There are many more voices from Ayodhya, voices of young men and women. Voices that need to be heard. We will continue to bring you these voices. We also urge you to visit our page https://cjp.org.in/peace-in-ayodhya/ and sign our online petition to support out intervention in the Supreme Court in the Ayodhya dispute. Our plea is that the court recognises that this is not some property dispute and the judgement would have widespread ramifications for the secular fabric of this country. Religion should not dictate what happens to this disputed land. We also appeal to all Indians to maintain Peace in Ayodhya. #PremJanmBhoomi
