Accused was allegedly exploiting the class 12 student for past eight months
A class 12 student has accused her motA her’s boyfriend of sexually exploiting her. According to her complaint to the police, she has claimed that the accu sed Sunny Shah, a resident of Chankyapuri, used to work with her mother in a local television channel and used to frequent their house.
Deepika (name changed) lives with her mother Divya (name changed) and 11-year-old brother in Sola. According to the complaint, Sunny had proposed marriage to Divya and adopt her children. “Sunny used to visit Divya’s house to discuss work and thus came in contact with the girl. Once, eight months ago, he visited the house while the girl was alone at home.He allegedly made some obscene comments and when the girl begged him to stop, he threatened to turn her mother against her. He allegedly told Deepika that Divya would never believe her. Later he allegedly raped the girl,“ the police said.
