UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
Sessions Case No.70/2002:
The learned Principal District and Sessions Judge,
Sabarkantha at Himatnagar has written a letter dated 11.11.2014 to this Court. In the said letter, the learned Judge has requested us to grant him some more time to complete the trial in the aforesaid case.
We have perused the letter sent by the learned learned
Principal District and Sessions Judge, Sabarkantha at Himatnagar and are satisfied with the reasons for grant of some more time for the disposal of the case.
Accordingly, we grant another three months’ time from
today to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge,
Sabarkantha at Himatnagar to hear and dispose of the Sessions Case No.70 of 2002. We hope and trust that the learned Judge will complete the trial within the time granted without requesting this Court once over again for more accommodation.
The Progress Report filed by the Chairman, Special
Investigation Team, Gandhinagar, Gujarat dated 30.11.2014 is taken on record. We direct the Registry to keep the aforesaid report in a sealed cover and keep it in safe custody.
Call the matter after three months.
