From detention camp to human rights defender

She was declared a ‘foreigner’ and sent to Assam’s detention camp. When she got bail on humanitarian grounds, she decided to change her life. She joined CJP and is now travelling all across Assam, fighting for people like her who are falsely accused of being ‘foreigners’. As this empowered woman has pledged to fight her own battle along with others like her, CJP salutes her spirit and we are proud to stand by her.
