Muslim seminary Darul Uloom Deoband has issued a fatwa calling shaving “un-Islamic“, with a panel of muftis citing their version of the Sharia. The muftis who issued the fatwa said barbers were not to cut the beard of even a person of another religion. Two people who run a hair salon had sought the fatwa.
