The Pune Police’s first attempts to link ‘Maoists’ to the violence that erupted at the Elgaar Parishad programe, happened before the activists arrest. In January 2018, 8 men including 5 workers and a contractor of Reliance Infrastructure private limited were arrested in alleged connection with the Bhima Koregaon incidents of violence.
