Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has made it clear that it would not allow any non-Hindu to enter the venue of Navaratri celebrations without undergoing ‘purification’ process by drinking cow urine and putting vermillion on their forehead. According to VHP leaders, Navaratri is purely a Hindu religious festival and sanctity of the occasion has to be maintained.
