UNICEF, Norway sovereign wealth fund form child rights network

The United Nations children’s agency and Norway’s $1-trillion sovereign wealth fund, along with some leading fashion companies, are forming a network to bolster the rights of children working in the garment and shoe industry, as well as those affected by the industry, Bloomberg reported. More than 10 companies, including H&M and Gucci owner Kering, have joined, and will take part in the first event in Geneva on November 27. The fund has holdings worth 44 billion kroner in the firms that have joined.
