Fact-finding study by PUCL also blames cops for the violence

Vadodara: The nexus between police, politicians and criminals, and the growing influence of BJP and rightwing Hindu groups over the police and administration are among the factors responsible for the wave of communal violence witnessed in Vadodara in the last few weeks, a fact-finding study has revealed.
The report prepared by People’s Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) threw light on various incidents of communal violence that have rocked Vadodara in the recent past.
