Petty quarrels trigger fresh clashes

The string of rioting incidents in the city continued with two communal clashes giving cops the sleepless night on Sunday.
The incidents left four persons injured in stone pelting and brawls.
Rioting began in the city on Monday night in the Nagarwada area after two persons had a quarrel when the car of one of them dashed that of another. The individuals involved in the incident belonged to different communities and mobs of both the communities gathered at the Mehta Wadi locality. The clashes were followed by stone pelting. Police personnel rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. The incident left one person injured.
