Hindutva is a cultural and civilisational ideology and everybody living in India should consider himself a Hindu, said RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at a function here on Sunday.
Addressing RSS workers, Mr. Bhagwat said the country could only be unified through Hindutva. He said that Rashtriya Swaysewak Sangh had always worked for the interests of India.
He emphasised on the need to bring about “uniformity” in the country and the role of Hindutva in achieving that purpose. “ Ek bhasha, ek devta, ek sampraday banana hoga [We need to ensure one language, one God and one religion],” he said elaborating on his larger point that “for unity we need uniformity”.
