One arrested for killing Indore woman in Patna

The man has admitted to his involvement and said he committed the crime in fit of rage following a heated argument.

Eight days after a young woman from Indore was shot dead near Patna railway station, the city police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested the main accused. The suspect, identified as Rajnish Singh, is a resident of Vaishali.
According to the police, the man has admitted to his involvement and said he committed the crime in fit of rage following a heated argument. Rajnish has alleged that the victim was blackmailing him.
The victim, Shristi Jain, 23, reportedly worked in a share trading company in Indore. She had arrived in Patna on January 23 to meet Rajnish after seeing his profile on a matrimonial website and was shot dead, allegedly by Rajnish, near Jakkanpur police station on the morning of January 25.
