Cases registered against unidentified people for uploading derogatory photos
PUNE: Four people were arrested after violence broke out in Pune and other parts of Maharashtra on Sunday, t his t i me over some morphed pictures of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar going viral on the social media.
The police have also registered cases against unidentified people for uploading the morphed pictures.
Last week, there were protests and violence in Pune, leading to the death of a 28-year-old techie, over derogatory pictures of Chhatrapati Shivaji and Shiv Sena chief late Bal Thackeray going viral through social networking websites.
