har, MP, Feb 12: Security has been tightened outside the controversial Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Mosque in Dhar town of Madhya Pradesh on Friday as Hindu outfits are planning to perform rituals outside the mosque on Basant Panchami. Hindu organisation offered prayers also on Tuesday making it the first time after 2003 when people offered prayers there.
The Dharma Jagran Manch (DJM) on Tuesday said that the satyagrah outside the shrine was against the administration which refused to reduce security measures. On Thursday, police also conducted a mock drill as part of the security check to stop any situation at the Bhojshala. The controversial site now is flooded with MP police commandos in black uniform. There are around 6,000 security personnel which includes 10 companies of Rapid Action Force (RAF) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), PTI reported. Besides, 140 CCTV cameras and two drone camera have been installed.
According to an order, Hindus will perform puja at Bhojshal on Basant Panchami fron sunrise to 12 noon and from 3:30 PM till sunset. And Muslims will offer namaz between 1 PM and 3PM.
