Court Takes Serious Note Of Police Excesses
The Gujarat high court on Thursday took a serious view of alleged police excesses in dealing with the unrest that was triggered after the August 25 crackdown on Patidar leaders at the GMDC ground.
“This is very disturbing. If police does this, what is the difference between rioters and the protectors?
What is the message that will go to people?“ Justice J B Pardiwala said, referring to the CCTV footage of policemen damaging cars and private property.
