The CBI on Thursday took over probe into the October 20 killing of two Dalit toddlers in an arson attack in Sunped Village of Faridabad after registering a case against 11 accused and visited the crime scene to collect forensic evidence.
The agency has taken over investigation after re-registering an FIR under IPC Sections, including those related to murder, arson and rioting, against 11 people of whom six are undergoing judicial custody and five absconding, CBI sources said. “The CBI has registered a case under Sections 147, 149, 452, 436, 302, 307 of IPC and Section 3 of SC/ST Act against 11 accused and taken over the investigation of the FIR No.325/2015 registered on 20.10.2015 at Police Station Sadar, Ballabhgarh, District Faridabad,” CBI spokeserson Devpreet Singh said.
