At least 28 people were arrested on Saturday for their alleged role in the communal riots that broke out on Friday night in Nagarwada area of the city. The riots occurred after a road accident near Mehtawadi locality. Police said two persons from a community were passing from the crossroads near Mehtawadi when their motorcycle collided with pedestrians belonging to a different community.
