Faizabad (UP):At a time when nstances of religious ntolerance have suddenly started cropping up all around, there is no dearth of stories of nter-faith camaraderie, too.Setting a unique example of communal harmony, Muslim prisoners at Barabanki district ail are observing a nine-day fast on the occasion of Navaratra along with Hindu prisoners. The ail administration is making all arrangements like fruits and other `falaahar’ eaten during Navaratra for both Hindu and Muslim prisoners.
There are over thousand nmates at Barabanki jail. Out of them, about 200 Hindu prisoners are observing the fast.And this year, they have been oined by 25 Muslim prisoners, who are regularly observing the fast since the first day of Navaratra on October 13.
