The Citizens for Justice and Peace strongly condemns the act of bomb terror in the northern towns of Lucknow, Varanasi and Faizabad that have claimed a dozen precious LIVES so far. There are reports of over 20 persons being injured. We express our deepest condolences to the bereaved families. We also appeal to all persons, in power and in public life, to exercise restraint and caution so that the fallout of the terror acts is not more hatred and retributory violence. Only lasting peace and inter community trust and tolerance can combat the politics of bomb terror and mob terror.
