Upon perusing papers, the Court made the following

O R D E R

 

 

We have perused the report dated 26th June, 2012 submitted by the Chairman, Special Investigation Team.

 

We accede to the prayer made therein and direct that the attachment of Dr. K. Venkatesham, (IPS-1988,

Maharashtra) shall continue with the SIT for a further period of six months. Necessary intimation in this regard shall be sent to the Union Home Ministry through its Secretary and Chief Secretary of the State of Maharashtra.

 

The Chairman, SIT may also be informed accordingly.

Modi, (IPS- 1984, Assam-Meghalaya) and Dr. K. Venkatesham, (IPS-1988, Maharashtra) shall continue with the SIT for a further period of six months. Necessary intimation in this regard shall be sent to the Union Home Ministry through its Secretary and Chief Secretaries of the States of Meghalaya and Maharashtra.

 

The Chairman, SIT may also be informed accordingly.
