Prosecution wants to
examine Zahira kin

Mumbai, Nov. 5:
The prosecution on Friday requested the court to examine the sister-in-law
of prime witness Zaheera Sheikh at the earliest as they feared she might
also turn hostile like Zaheera, reports our correspondent.
ZaheeraÂ’s sister-in-law
was not examined by the fast track court in Baroda that had acquitted 21
accused in the Best Bakery carnage. Special public prosecutor Manjula Rao
suggested that the court function for a few extra days during the Diwali
vacations to finish the deposition. The defence lawyer, however, refused
to accept the request. The court will decide on this matter on Saturday.
