An important witness for the prosecution Balwant Sinh from the Gujarat
Home Department deposed in the Gulberg Trial yesterday he stated that
he had given permission to prosecute KG Erda then PI. Meghaninagar. He
deposed on Feb 15. He also admitted that between 12 noon and 5 pm on
February 28, 2002 when the attack against the Gulberg Society was at
its height the police but ONE OF THE MOB WAS INJURED. (Did they only
fire in the air?)
