Bangladesh, Myanmar reach agreement on return of Rohingya

Bangladesh and Myanmar have reached an agreement regarding the repatriation of several hundred thousand Rohingya refugees who fled Myanmar and are in Bangladesh’s Cox’s Bazar, Al Jazeera reported. This follows a meeting between Aung San Suu Kyi, Myanmar’s State Counsellor and de factor leader, and Bangladesh’s foreign minister. More than 620,000 Rohingya have entered Bangladesh after violence broke out in Myanmar’s Rakhine state.
